As with the other thread image numbers 5,6,7,9, and 10 have been taken from Mike Hollingshead without permisson and so shouldn't really be displayed on here. :)

I concur with PK, unless you have permission from the owner of these pictures to display them at S2K they really shouldnt be on here!

I've previously been in contact with Mike about his images being passed around as if they were from Katrina etc. He isn't happy so even if you don't claim they are yours it isn't a good idea to post them on here. See http://www.extremeinstability.com/storms.htm

Yeah, but this particular person we are talking about has had severe problems with this kind of situation in the past and is asking for his pictures not to be posted anywhere without written consent beforehand. You are of course not doing anything malicious here, but others have before, and this person has decided to take the above mentioned action because of it.

First of all Christy, this is not being directed at you. This is being directed at the entire membership of STORM2K.

Storm2k has a very strict policy against copyright infringement and plagiarism. We do not condone it nor will we allow it if we are aware of it. Unfortunately for Mike Hollingshead someone stole his photos last year and you can see the result by clicking on the link in the post above. I saw these photos originally on his site very soon after they were taken and in fact emailed him about them. Then I started seeing them at different places not too long after that. As they say the rest is history.

I am locking this thread as no more comments are necessary concerning this. It is also being stickied as a reminder to everyone here.
