After a high of 88 on Tuesday (before front), North Houston ONLY reached about 58 yesterday, and last night I had a low at my house of 32. It is 58 in my backyard right now, and we are expecting lower to middle 30s again tonight. It went from Summer-like to Winter-like in less than a day! Looking at extended forecasts it looks like 70 degrees will be hard to reach over the next 10-15 days...we may hit 70-73 for a day or two, but then there always seems to be another front to bring us back down into the 60s or below. Brrr...

High near 90 at my location (85 in downtown st. petersburg)
yesterday
Today was somewhat cooler with highs in the upper 70s,
but not much cooler...it's still not that cool..around 73 right now...
this cold front doesn't seem like much right now....
lows could get as cold as the mid 50s next week...So about
a 10-15 degree temp drop in lows
This past week lows were near 65-68
Next week 55-60...
but I like it nice and tropical because I am sensitive to flu
and any strong cold front could make me get flu...

Hmmm... I'm wondering what you all are complaining about. Those temperatures seem WONDERFUL!
I don't have the hourly breakdown since the cold front came through here a few days ago, but let me put it this way:
Normally this time of year our high is 47F with a low of 27F.
The high on the 12th was a record 74F. (yes... seventy-four)
The 13th, we had a morning low of 44F followed by a high of 50F.
The 14th, we had a morning low of 44F followed by a high of 50F.
The 15th, the day the cold front came through, we had a morning low of 30F with a high of 39F. It snowed 2.5" here.
The 16th was cloudy, so the temperatures hadn't reacted too bad to the front. The low was 17F with a high of 23F.
Overnight it cleared out, allowing the temperatures to drop to 13F. Thankfully we had some dense clouds move in a few hours prior to sunrise. Otherwise, we would have seen single-digits. Our high today was 31F.
It could be worse... locally we've had some overnight lows at 0F, mainly to the NW of the city.
