Residents along Red River caught by surprise

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Fri Mar 10, 2006 10:33 pm

After 6:30PM CST, northern Cooke and Grayson Counties in Texas had a strong thunderstorm developing, thus prompting a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for those areas as well as some southern Oklahoma Counties. Any rain or thunderstorms were not forecasted for N. TX, but "POOF", there it was. A TORNADO WARNING is in effect for Atoka County in Oklahoma until 10:30PM CST

Currently, Severe Thunderstorm Watch #58 is in effect for Eastern Oklahoma and extreme Northwestern Arkansas until 2:00AM CST Early Saturday Morning.
