* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
HARRISON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST IOWA
MONONA COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL IOWA

* UNTIL 1245 AM CDT

* AT 1154 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH DAMAGING WIND FROM 4 MILES WEST OF WHITING TO 11 MILES WEST OF MONDAMIN...OR FROM 27 MILES SOUTH OF SIOUX CITY TO 29 MILES NORTHWEST OF OMAHA...MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
WHITING...BLENCOE AROUND 1205 AM CDT LITTLE SIOUX AROUND 1210 AM CDT ONAWA...MONDAMIN AROUND 1215 AM CDT RODNEY AROUND 1220 AM CDT MODALE AROUND 1225 AM CDT PISGAH AROUND 1230 AM CDT

Ummm....
How about a severe thunderstorm with light rain and potentially damaging winds?

NW at 56 gusts to 75 mph. A light thunderstorm??? NOT!
