. Tampa's rainless streak continues.

Tampa's dry weather began at the end of february with the last measurable rain occurring on february 26th. This makes today, april 6, the 39th consecutive day with no measurable rain which is now tied for the 8th longest number of consecutive days with no measurable rain. There is hope though. A cool front will be moving into central florida over the weekend and this combined with some upper level energy could bring an end to the dry streak Saturday night or Sunday.
