Tornado Watch issued for Nebraska/NE Kansas (from the 2nd system) and Severe Thunderstorm Watch for parts of the Mid-Atlantic (from the 1st system that had the Thursday and Friday activity).

Up to 4 tornadoes now...one of them seems to have been quite destructive...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OMAHA HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
FREMONT COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST IOWA
OTOE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA

* UNTIL 700 PM CDT

* AT 635 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A TORNADIC STORM AND TRAINED
SPOTTERS CONFIRM A TORNADO. THE TORNADO WAS LOCATED 7 MILES SOUTH
OF NEBRASKA CITY...OR ABOUT 37 MILES NORTH OF FALLS CITY...MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
NEBRASKA CITY AND 7 MILES NORTHWEST OF HAMBURG...
SIDNEY...

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 29 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 1 AND 20.

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR A PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF A BASEMENT IS NOT
AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER ON THE LOWEST LEVEL OF THE BUILDING. GO TO
AN INTERIOR ROOM OR HALLWAY. USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO COVER YOUR

STORM 2 MILES EAST OF INTERSTATE 29 AROUND 5 MILES NORTH OF HAMBURG.
THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

Nope. Looks like I might have to hit my shelter soon. Looks like a hook might be coming this direction. Might go north of here, but it's got an impressive hail core north of the hook, which is pretty "classic" from what I'm told.

Either way, it's passed now. Sirens are off. All clear.

Sounds like if anything, they were extremely brief touchdowns, no damage reports to the media outlets. It looks like, at least in my area, the storm lost a lot of punch over this area, but did regen a bit after it passed. Hail core seemed to have disappeared a bit and then regenerated.
