Hail

#1 Postby Brent » Wed Apr 19, 2006 3:26 pm

Tons of mainly pea sized hail here... yard is covered in spots.

Quarter sized now. It is really coming down. I went out and got some and put it in the freezer.

Iwas noticing those storms in the NE AL NW GA area earlier today. Showed TONS of hail in them. Any damage reports?

A few busted windshields is all I've heard.

Also some isolated wind damage and maybe a couple of brief tornadoes(not confirmed).

171 reports today, 152 of them hail and 11 of them 2" or larger.

what city? I couldve been very close...about midnight I had a strong bow move thru...very heavy rain, extremely dangerous lightning, and strong winds...although I could only see the lightning from my bedroom window, I also heard a lot of howling from the winds
