During the storms we had in Florida my neighbors patio roof colapsed. They weren't home at that time so thank god but it was just horrible. Please pray for them.

how did that happen? looking at the reports I am finding no wind/hail reports from that area. Was it heavy rain that caused it?

probably rain, the whole thing just colapsed is what I heard. You sure there were no wind reports? The NWS issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning here!

no there were no wind reports for your area. Now I am not saying that wind did not cause it, because it very well may have (Just it was not reported as wind damage). Either way that is quite scary. Good thing no one was in the place as that happened.

Yeah but they had a pet bird in the patio room. I hope it survived.
