Tensaw River Flood Level Elevations

#1 Postby scorpdream » Tue Jun 27, 2006 11:50 am

OK - another work related question.... I am looking for the flood level elevation for the Tombigbee River at mile marker 49 (at Tensaw Tract) – can also be at mile marker 30 (Barry Steam plant). Not flood plain info, but the actual flood level/elevation. If anyone can help please answer ASAP> THANKS!!!!

According to this...

http://www.nws.noaa.gov/oh/hic/archive/ ... 0812.shtml

The flood stage is 12.0 feet at the Barry Steam Plant, however it states that it's on the Mobile River.

The gage sites listed for the Tombigbee are Leroy, Amory, Bigbee, and Fulton.

Hope this helps.
