WELL.......I retract my earlier statement about this being a LOUSY monsoon. Since it's beginning, I've received over 7" and according to THIS HWO......could be a VERY interesting day

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR APACHE...COCONINO...NORTHERN
GILA...NAVAJO...AND YAVAPAI COUNTIES IN NORTHERN ARIZONA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY

DEEP MONSOONAL MOISTURE HAS MOVED ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA TODAY WITH
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALREADY OCCURRING. EXPECT WIDESPREAD SHOWER
AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY TODAY...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE MOGOLLON RIM
AND WHITE MOUNTAINS...AS WELL AS YAVAPAI COUNTY.

STRONGER STORMS ARE LIKELY BY THIS AFTERNOON...WITH SOME SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE. MANY STORMS WILL PRODUCE MODERATE TO HEAVY
RAIN TODAY AS THEY MOVE NORTH AT 10 TO 15 MPH. DUE TO THE SATURATED
SOIL CONDITIONS...SOME AREAS MAY SEE FLOODING BY THIS AFTERNOON
UNDER THE HEAVIEST RAIN. FLOODING IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE WIDESPREAD.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE SATURDAY AS DEEP
MOISTURE LINGERS OVER THE AREA. THE MOISTURE BOUNDARY WILL PUSH
EAST SUNDAY...WITH STORM ACTIVITY BECOMING MORE SCATTERED AND
CONCENTRATED CLOSER TO THE NEW MEXICO BORDER INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.

Send some of that flooding over here! The dry grounds here can suck up 3/4 of that much.
