What a beautiful night

#1 Postby Jim Cantore » Mon Sep 04, 2006 12:25 am

61 degrees, zero humidity nice light 1-3mph breeze, I couldn't resist taking a stroll.

Just to think a Tropical system was whipping through 48 hours ago.

Sounds very nice. That's what we get here all the time. Our summer nights are very comfortable. Glad you're enjoying it, though!

I'm finding this down right cold. After spending last week down on the beaches of the North Carolina Outer Banks - where we had temps for most of the week in the middle to upper 90's with very high dewpoints...coming home to this Autumn weather has been a shock to the system. After Ernesto, it was rather chilly down there as well.

I wasn't up THAT LATE, but it definately translated into a BEAUTIFUL Labor Day! What a way for the "unofficial end" to summer to go!

Friday into Saturday was downright RAW due to Ernesto and the Easterly and then Northerly winds.
