#1 Postby gatorcane » Sat Nov 04, 2006 9:54 am

This front/high pressure combination is creating quite a windy situation this saturday for metro South Florida and squalls are also moving in off the Atlantic. Check out the Miami Beach observation. Is that correct?

Yeah this long wind fetch really got the surf up all along the east coast of Florida. Over the last few days I have been visiting local beaches from Palm Beach to Vero filming the beach erosion.

With the full moon cycle and the high surf, beaches along Hutchinson Island have had some impressive erosion issues. Some beaches still recovering from Frances and Jeanne.
