HEAVY RAIN TEMPORARILY EASES WATER PROBLEMS IN PALM BEACH COUNTY
Torrential and record breaking rainfall has swamped the Palm Beach International Airport with 8.22 inches of rainfall today....eradicating the previous record rainfall for Dec 14 of 3.75 inches in 1955.
Streets and homes have been flooded, knocking out power to hundreds of customers , and contributing to accidents which have snarled traffic.
Gusts to near 41mph were recorded at Palm Beach Airport.
