#1 Postby HenkL » Wed Oct 04, 2006 10:36 am

September 2006 had a mean temperature of 17.9°C in The Netherlands (De Bilt). This is 3.7°C above the 1971-2000 'normal'. Is was also the warmest September since measuring of temperatures began in 1706.

It's been quite a record-breaking summer this year. July was also the hottest July in 300 years and August one of the wettest Augusts ever. This summer also had the most ADS-days ever.

I wonder if the weather will stay this warm. Forecasts say that because of the abnormally warm North Sea, october should be quite warm and wet.
