INTRODUCTION

#3 Postby gigabite » Sun Jan 22, 2006 5:49 pm

The purpose of this work is to provide a means of real time gravity assessment. There is a government project that does satellite differential gravity measurements; but it is so new I am almost sure that at this time of budget constraints there are no derived products.

The issues that relate to interplanetary cohesion modeled by western civilization for thousands of years. The concept of gravity was explained Newton around 1700, shortly after mechanical clocks evolved into chronometers. During the same time Galileo and Descartes tried to determine the form and motion of heavenly bodies. They in turn and many others built mechanical devices that mimicked planetary movement.

The math involved was called the music of the spheres because of the perfection with which the process defined the movement of the planets. I am looking at wrapping functions that have a possibility of gravitational interaction with Earth's atmosphere. The first and most powerful is the New Moon at Noon. The longitude of New Moon at Noon moves around the planet 112 degrees a month. It takes 8.5 years for it to complete a cycle. The next most The next most influential gravitational aspect that effects weather is perigee and apogee. Perigee is 25 percent stronger than apogee. The period between perigee and apogee is 16 days, so once a year the New Moon is at perigee and once a year the Full Moon is at apogee. The next two mixing forces are planetary and although the force relative to that of the moon is only about one percent and it is offset by the pull of the sun , but it is a constant 50 to 80 pounds per square foot at equilibrium.

These extra planetary forces are changing position at a determined rate. The influence of these forces are normally constant. The conditions that occurs to increase the influence are alignments. When the gravitational forces act colinear and coplanar their magnitudes are added or subtracted depending on what side of the Earth they are on. This causes a pegging of a field through the atmosphere. The position and orientation of the field moves some, but the influence is generally focused on a plane defined by the earth Moon intercept and the rotation of Earth. This causes an increase in turbulence denoted by an increase in high and low pressure cell development North and South of that plane and at least one geographic position at the earth moon sun plus some other constant intercept has a build up effect for the duration of the alignment phase this is because the reflective nature of gravitons.

The movement of the moon is a curious phenomena, because the earth rotates at around 1,000 miles per hour and the moon orbits only once a month the apparent motion of the moon is from east to west. Any daily position fix on the moon will move west around 13 degrees a day because of the progression of the moons latitude.

The moon path can observe by watching the sea level heights the sea level heights are a factor of the full and new moon position. Just as sea level heights change with the daily tides as the earth rotates, the size of the tide changes as the earth, moon and sun align.

The foundation of this paper is that just as the tidal influences effect sea level heights it also effects water vapor. The effect of gravity on weather is more than just a stirring of clouds, because gravitons are a solid that influences the direction that matter moves. Alignments that cause gravitons to bend together and form a peg (a gravity well) in the atmospheric flow this also reduces the sea level atmospheric pressure along a line, determined by the path of the Earth-Moon intercept. This reduction of pressure over an area water increases evaporation by lowering the boiling point. There is also the graviton effect on evaporation. That is as the number of gravitons that strike a given area increase then there is a corresponding increase in evaporation. The increase of evaporation is greatest at the earth intercept of an alignment.

The Earth intercept is a geographic position that corresponds with that point on the geopotential surface of Earth relative to the position of the Moon at the time of the alignment with the Sun and or other gravitational source. Since evaporation can only occur over water when the Earth intercept happens to be over land there is a dramatic reduction in monthly global evaporation. This is how the latitude of the New Moon factors into the total global moisture equation. The percent of land to water increases as latitude increases through the tropics.

Summer New Moon latitude is a major factor in global moisture levels for several reasons. The amount water along the path of the New Moon decreases as the latitude of the moon increases. The temperature of the water along the path drops geometrically an latitude increases from the equator.

The position of the Earth Intercept has a variety of effects on weather influences ranging from tides to tropical storms. The following pages will attempt to present a reasonable cause and effect explanation as a basis for further study.

So don't keep us in suspense ... what's the relationship? And what's the relevance of this figure showing the standard box model for global atmospheric circulation to that relationship?

And if you're planning to show some lunar effect, why are you posting a stat sheet on Jupiter?

I have been looking at the relationship between gravity and weather. A graph for the annual rainfall totals for the last 61 years at the Naples Rain Gauge suggests a regular variation from the average annual rainfall. Assuming the variation is regular, and the root cause of the variation can be determined, a mathematical model can be derived by writing a trigonometric function with the same periods as the root cause.

The Naples rain gauge is in a good position because it is on the west coast of florida and the reach of the wind from the west is about 1600 kilometers all over water and it’s latitude is just south of the northern extent of the moons ride.

The standard deviation of annual rainfall at the Naples is about 11.7 inches and the graph is very trendy.

It is known that the moon’s gravity causes the changes in sea level. I mean tides. If the moon can move water it could be understood that the moons gravity can also move water vapor.

The new moon and the full moon are phases of the moon that, because of the alignment with the sun, pull water to the equator. Correspondingly, the moon at a perigee has the same effect, but not as significant.

Perigee of the moon takes on a procession of longitudes around the planet. The cycle around the planet takes around 8.493 years or it can be said that the line of perigee moves at 42.39 degrees per year.

A simple model of the effect of perigee on local rainfall could be equation 1:

11.7”* sin (2 * 42.39t + 90) where “t” is in years.

The model can be improved when the tidal effect of Jupiter is applied. The year when Jupiter is at opposition when the earth is at aphelion corresponds to a 70% increase in average rainfall. Also the presence of Jupiter at opposition when the earth is at perihelion corresponds to a 70% drop in average annual rainfall.

Jupiter and Venus have 1 percent of the tidal effect of the moon.

It takes Jupiter 11.86 years to orbit the sun, so it moves 30.35 degrees a year.

Indexing Jupiter’s orbit along the same time line as the moon’s line of perigee shows a point of coincidence in the year 1987. Providing equation 2:

11.7”*sin(2*42.39t+90)+8.19* cos (30.35t+90)^3

the wettest season water table varies with equation 2.

***********************************************

The problem is that this equation has a tendency to blow-out at the solar max. I am thinking of a new approach that Indexes the latitude of the new moon with perigee when there is an alignment with Venus and Jupiter. I just recently figured that Venus was also significant factor, and I haven’t developed a wrapping function to add in to equation 2.

Is the water of the southern hemisphere cooler than the northern hemisphere?

The percent of water in the northern hemisphere is 71.1 % between 0 degrees and 30 and in the southern hemisphere the percent of is 77.1% With the surface area of water being larger and the general depth of the southern seas being deeper. I assume that the average water temperature is cooler in the southern hemisphere.

The effect of the latitude of the New Moon is a decisive factor in weather because of the way it effects evaporation. “Evaporation is the process whereby atoms, or molecules gain sufficient energy to enter the gaseous state. The thermal motion of a molecule must be sufficient to overcome the surface tension of the liquid in order for it to evaporate, that is, its kinetic energy must exceed the work function of cohesion.

Evaporation proceeds more quickly at higher temperature or lower pressure. Since only a small proportion of the molecules are located near the surface and are moving in the proper direction to escape at any given instant, the rate of evaporation is limited. Also, as the faster-moving molecules escape, the remaining molecules have lower average kinetic energy, and the temperature of the liquid thus decreases.” 1

The New Moon is the alignment of the Earth Moon and the Sun. The gravimetric force becomes static this means that the Sun/Moon Force and the Earth/Moon Force are added to each other and a local evaporation field variable multiplier develops along the moon’s path. That means a force develops that lowers surface pressure this lowers the evaporation point slightly, but during the 9 days of the New Moon Phase this local gravity distortion can pull-up a 10 percent increase in global water vapor, when it is over warm water.

Water temperature increases as latitude approaches zero. The cross section of tropical water is larger and stable south of the equator. . As the latitude of the New Moon Phase at aphelion moves south over the years there is and increase in atmospheric water vapor, because there are a greater concentration of gravitons in an area where the amount of ready to evaporate warm water is greatest.

The Law of Universal Gravitation and the Hokkaido, Japan Earthquake September 25, 2003

Gravitation:

From: Exploring the Universe by George O. Abell 3rd page 66 edition
Holt, Rinehart and Winston, New York 1974

“For Newton’s hypothesis of universal attraction to be correct, there must be an attractive force between all pairs of objects whose value is given by the same mathematical formula as that for the force between the sun and a planet. Thus the force F between two bodies of masses m1 and m2 and separated by distance d, is

F = G (m1 m2) / d^2

Here G, the constant of proportionality in the equation. Is a number called the constant of gravitation, whose value depends on the units of mass, distance, and force used. The actual value for G has to be determined by laboratory measurement of the attractive force between two material bodies. If metric units are used (grams for mass, centimeters for distance, and dynes for force), G has the numerical value of 6.67 X 10-8

The above equation expresses Newton’s law of universal gravitation, which is stated as follows:

Between any two objects anywhere in space there exists a force of attraction that is in proportion to the product of the masses of the objects and in inverse to the square of the distances between them“.

Hokkaido Earthquake:
2003 Sep 25 at 21:07:59 UT

The above equation is used to relate the force between the Earth, Sun, Moon, and Planets. It should be noted that the increase in gravitation between the quarter phase and new or full moon is a very small 0.005 percent.
This explains why the Hokkaido Earthquake was so large. The event as I see it was that the Earth and Moon were close enough to lining up that when Venus came in range it cause the earth to be jerked closer to the Sun. Thumping the Pacific in several places just above the Clipperton fracture Zone. Venus has 115 times the potential as the differential between the quarter phase and the full phase and as the near alignment sputtered across the fault shock waves were transmitted diagonally across the pacific to the place along the plate that had the most torsion potential built up. That must have been Hokkaido Japan.

This image is a product of the Tropical Atmosphere Ocean project. TAO is an array of over 500 buoys in the pacific ocean between 100 degrees west and 140 degrees east and between 10 degrees south and 10 degrees north. The importance of this image is that it shows the relationship of the sea level at the intersection line of the earth moon Venus sun alignment. The dynamic height graph indicates a spike in sea level at that point during the time of the alignment.

Dynamic Height. This is a measure of the elevation of the sea level , calculated by integrating the specific volume anomaly of the sea water between the sea surface and 500 meter depth.

This image is the infrared satellite image at the time of the New Moon alignment the cross hair is on the earth intercept of the alignment.

The phase of the moon is a decisive factor in weather. I use the new moon to get a fix on the longitude of the moon. The phases of the moon new or full have field variable multipliers that are larger than any where on the moon path because of the alignment with the sun.

Tropical storms per month

40 percent of this years tropical storms, so far, have developed in a span of time that constitutes 10 percent of a month. That is to say that 6 of the 16 tropical cyclones have developed with in 3 days of the new moon. That is better than a coin flip. In fact it is 5 times better than a coin flip. It is a clear connection between the phase of the moon and tropical cyclone development.

The earth rotates at 1000 miles per hour. If a tropical cyclone is directly in the path of the moon pass at the new or full moon the system will be split. If the Moon pass is north of the system it may stall. If the moon pass is south of the system guidance is much like a shot on a pool table. The reaction is limited in time because the field variable is strong only during alignment. The effect of the moon pass lasts only as long as the moon is within a few hours of the system. The moon path may only bump a system around a few tenths of a degree from the path determined by the steering components active at the time if it is not a direct hit.

The New Moon phase is much stronger than the Full Moon phase and during nine rotations under the New Moon a system is likely to pass directly through the intercept. It is common for weak systems to be split at that time. As the size of the system increases the likelihood of a split approaches zero. A very large system under a strong field variable might see up to a 3 millibar rise is pressure.

The upper level high

This is attached to the storm. The upper level high is a tell tale, but it moves around all the time. It will go where the storm goes. There are a lot of steering factors on a tropical cyclone. The sub-lunar force is an intermittent one. There are two reasons for that first the strongest part of the force is only there for two or three hours a day at the New Moon and the Full Moon, and it is only a factor in 40 percent of storms.

As the earth rotates and the moon orbit’s the sub-lunar point plows a path through the atmosphere. The effect that this interaction has on the atmosphere is dependent on the strength of center gravitational field variable.

The resultant range from 1 to 3 millibars high pressure root mean squared along the path of the moon. There is a distant turbulence a factor up or down to a latitude of 35 degrees. The rebounding wave initiates 3 hours after the pass and jerk is timed at 6.81 hours.

The upper level high helps pull moisture in the storm above 13 kilometers and as the field variable multiplier dissipates the moisture is released and cyclonic motion intensifies.

Three or four Moon passes can crank a storm up a notch or if it is struck directly by the center of the gravity field it can actually split the storm into two tropical masses.

JUPITER AND THE GLOBAL RAINFALL SEQUENCE

#11 Postby gigabite » Sat Feb 10, 2007 11:47 am

The purpose of this paper is to show the relationship between rainfall and the orbit of Jupiter at a single specific rain gague. The rain gauge in Naples Florida is interesting because of the reach of the westerly flow across the Gulf of Mexico. This gauge is counter indicative to the western drought.

Current long hurricane forecasting are based on interpreting weather patterns in six different parts of the world and correlating those patterns to historical hurricane patters. This reasoning is chaos in chaos out. Recent large errors in long range hurricane forecasting are indicative of that.

A better base line would relate the gravity of the Sun Moon Jupiter and Venus to weather. Although gravity is a weak force and atmospheric tides are not easily detected the wrapping force effects atmospheric moisture on a global scale simultaneously. With the most obvious effect being directly below the position of the New Moon.

This causes an increase in turbulence denoted by an increase in high and low pressure cell development North and South of that plane and at least one geographic position at the earth moon sun plus some other constant intercept has a build up effect for the duration of the alignment phase this is because the reflective nature of gravitons.

My annual rainfall model that I developed back in 1991 is

Annual Rain = 8.25 SIN ((81.356° ( YEAR - 1987) + 90°)+5.75(COS(30°(YEAR - 1987 0 + 90°))^3

This equation was based on actual rainfall data. Building a new model is an agenda item. I needed another component, but I did not know what it was. That is what brought me to imaging lunar gravitational patterns in the clouds.

Back In September of 2003 I noticed that an earthquake occurred in Japan at the alignment of Venus and the Moon and Sun. With the help of generic man on a yahoo message board I was able to develop a spread sheet to compute the gravitational effects on anything on anything.

The rainfall pattern seem to be highest when Jupiter is aligned with the Full Moon. This is the phase we are in now it runs for about 6 years through the solar cycle inflection point. Venus is a kicker and I believe that double blip in cycle 23 maximum had some thing to do with it. That double blip can not occur with a single variable.

The formula above is old and the global annual rainfall average has risen quite a bit since it was derived. And was adjusted to opposition near perihelion. At that time I wrote most of the programs to reduce the information and I hacked the dates out of the “Old Farmers Almanac” It is rough but a start. I am sure I can refine it. The rainfall cycle seems to be 12 years and is directly affected by the position of Jupiter at the full moon and Venus at the new moon

For some reason the impact circle (regional field variable) of the lunar sub point if it forms is generally around the area of the latitude and longitude of the New Moon even if the impact circle forms before the date and time of the New Moon. It can form days earlier near the time of the alignment, but at the position of the New Moon not under it’s current latitude. This indicates optical qualities of lensing and refraction.

Evaporation is increased by 0.2 percent in an area with a diameter 1,100 kilometers if there is more water at the threshold of evaporation then there are more parcels brought up. Over land there is less water at the threshold of evaporation. Over a desert there is none. Under perfect conditions the nine days of the New Moon Phase can increase global water vapor by 10 percent.

Many problems occur because of the lack of understand of relative gravitation, and at this time there are no real time relative gravitation base lines in Florida or Texas, so don‘t expect the models to be getting better any time soon, because the lunar epoch is 19 years, and that is how long it will take to get one set of data after they are put in place.

CONCLUSION

Although the technology to compare annual rainfall verses relative gravity exists it can only be applied in two states Florida and Texas. The process is simply to compare regional rainfall to very small (0.03 millibar) relative gravity at the rain gauge. The Northern range of the Moon’s run is just above 28 degrees latitude and the stations need to be separated by 20 to 40 kilometers north and south the east and west range isn’t important.
