Yeah, we usually have about 6 days of snow a year on the mountains in the Western Cape, and then on the lower lying areas of the Eastern Cape and Kwazulu-Natal areas when a strong front pushes through. Last year was a rare incident in regards to the snow in Johannesburg, this year Johannesburg has received hardly any winter rain and instead had heatwaves with record temperatures for a few weeks. On the other hand here in Cape Town things are still 100% wintery, in September (the first month of spring) vast majority of the days were rain filled, and the month had a total of over 150mm which is 4x the monthly average. Hoping to see temperatures go above 20`C soon. Winter is starting to bore me
