The last month of 2008 will see which weather phenomenon was the "Storm of the Month" and you're the one that decides. You have three days to vote!

After this election is over, we will have another to choose, the "Storm of the Year."

Looks like winter is taking over the election. Still, your vote decides. One day away from the final results.

Now for Storm of the Year - it should be the undisputed monthly winners:

January - January 7-10 outbreak
February - Super Tuesday outbreak
March - Atlanta tornado
April - none (no consensus winner)
May - Cyclone Nargis
June - Typhoon Fengshen
July - Hurricane Bertha
August - Tropical Storm Fay
September - Hurricane Ike
October - Hurricane Omar
November - Hurricane Paloma
December - Houston/New Orleans winter storm

It's going to be either Nargis, Fengshen, or Ike. None of the others really come close.

I got to personally witness Ike and the snow miracle, but the Myanmar/Burma cyclone is clearly the weather story of the year.
