UK Update- exciting showers

#1 Postby Gord_on_snow » Tue Mar 23, 2004 8:35 am

The UK has been seeing a lot of heavy convective showers over the past 3 days. Cold northerly winds have bought Thunderstorms and hail to many parts of England and Wales, more so to the south. Some hills and mountains have seen some snow and the skies have been full of some very impressive cb's. Temperatures have been slightly below normal, and more so in the showers.

There have been no confirmed reports of any tornadic activity as far as i know, but i know there are experts looking at this.

So some exciting weather here at the moment, sferics are showing lightning around the London area right now, so today seems to be kicking off as well, although not as quickly or as widespread as yeaterday
