Based on early voting and number of nominations, S2K feels confident on predicting that the US Tornado Outbreak will be January 2008's "Storm of the Month."

The Chinese storms were more in February I thought? Yes that should get a February nomination though - but it will be in tough...

I thought that they were more in February too. I didn't realize that it went back as far as January 10.

Well, since they did occur in February as well, someone has the opportunity to nominate them for storm of the month.

I think that this is a very educational poll. It makes many more aware of what is going on outside of the US.
