seems the run was a bit of an outlier really.....looks to be cool for Scotland this weekend though. :)

Seems northerlies are going to persist for a few days beyond next week, with a slack low moving in from the north and bringing rain, and rain :o

Now looks like there could be more snow across the Scottish Highlands this weekend - only in showers, but these could produce temporary blizzard conditions in the strong northerly winds. All in all looking like rather a wintry weekend. Let's hope it doesn't take any hillwalkers unawares!

I see that snow is falling in your part of the world too. Some places in the upper great lakes region of the U.S. (Minnesota, Wisconsin, northern Michigan) have seen snow showers this week. Keep us informed about the cold and snow over there! 8-)
