I was browsing wetter.de today and came across something that is a bit interesting. It's a 4-day video-type model of Europe and northern Africa. It shows the wind speed and direction and well as sfc temperature in a graphical format. Basically, the length of the "dot" is how fast the winds are, the "dots" color represents weather it's CAA or WAA, and with this you can determine where lows and highs are and frontal boundaries. Also, the color of the land shows the surface temperature.
(It looks like late on the 18th a Genoa low forms just south of France)
