AMMAN (JT) — Temperatures are expected to rise gradually starting Monday, reaching 30C on Saturday, March 13, the Meteorological Department said yesterday.
The cold front that affected the Kingdom on Friday night is expected to subside gradually. Today, the weather will remain partly cloudy with a chance for scattered showers, especially in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom.
On Monday, the weather will be moderate with a chance of cloud formation at different altitudes and a maximum temperature of 16C is forecast for Amman. Temperatures will continue rising noticeably until Thursday. On Friday, it will be warm with highs ranging between 26-28C in the capital — about 10-12C above the seasonal average.
Last week, the country was affected by semi-khamasini conditions accompanied by high temperatures, which lasted till last Thursday.
