Somalia gets a soaking during dry season

#1 Postby senorpepr » Tue Jul 20, 2004 12:52 pm

Mon Jul 19th 2004 - The rainfall story of the day goes to Hargeysa in Somalia. They have had a grand total of 135 millimeters rainfall since 0600 GMT Saturday, with 84 millimeters of this between midnight and 0600 GMT on Monday. Considering their average for the whole of July is only 30 millimeters, this is a lot of rain.
