Ah, another conspriacy theory site which is full of it. Truth is, cloud seeding (weather modification) and fog clearing (weather modification) projects have been going on in CA since the early 1950's by PG&E and water conservation districts to enhance rainfall in normal and subnormal rainfall years and by airports to reduce fog impacts on airline travel. Those who engage in these projects have their own Mets and stand down when heavy precipitation events like the recent one are anticipated. Fog clearing projects are also used at many airports in the Intermountain West like SLC and BOI where extended periods of dense freezing fog are common.

I live in reality not theory and I lived in California for many years and knew about their weather modification programs as two fo them went on clse to where I lived-I also lived for a time in Germany and UT where the fog clearing projects go on and in the Philippines, those of us at Clark AB worked with the PAGASA Mets in their weather mod program.
