Global Warming Worse on Mars

Global Warming Worse on Mars

It might seem like the weather's getting warmer here on Earth, but Mars appears to have an even bigger global warming problem.

High-resolution images snapped by NASA's Mars Global Surveyor show that levels of frozen water and carbon dioxide at the Red Planet's poles have dwindled dramatically — by more than 10 feet — over a single Martian year (equivalent to 687 days or about two Earth years).

Is our sun starting its Red giant stage??? Holy #%%

No, the Sun hasn't started the Red Giant stage yet. Temperature measurements for Mars of an in situ nature have been going on for only 29 years and then not on a continuous basis. Therefore it's too early to make any hard and fast statements. That being said, good Earth based observations of Mars date back about a 100 years more and they suggest that there is a cyclic variability of the Martian climate as evidenced by observations of the Polar Caps from Earth.

Aslkahuna, Matt posted the same thing on another forum, and they debunked him to. We have a long way to go before that stage come in. I would be 6 feet under 1,000 times over before it comes to be a RED GIANT.

There is no such thing as global warming... Think of it as a warm phase that cycles between cold phases...
