Actually, the Ozone Layer depletion was not due to Global Warming but CFCs filtering up to the layer and reacting with the Ozone and depleting it. But there is also a Solar connection related to the Solar cycle. When Solar activity is low (which it is now as we approach Solar Min) the UV output from the Sun goes down significantly-especially in the EUV. As this happens, less Ozone is produced by one form of UV while less is needed to block out the other more dangerous form. Consequently, the Sun in essence regulates the amount of Ozone to that which is required-it's when we with our CFCs or Nuclear strikes and Nature with the volcanoes and impacts play around with the Ozone that we have problems. Those who study the Ozone layer know of this effect of the Sun and account for it.
