China's weather control experiments

#1 Postby jrod » Mon Jun 05, 2006 1:38 pm

The Chinese have an ongoing experiment to control the weather. They want to make rain for agriculture and fair skies for big events. The hope to have this perfected enought to assure good weather for the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Still it is interesting. They are spending a lot of money on that project, though I think there are better chemicals than silver iodide to seed clouds with, they are using old technology.
