Western Atlantic Tropical Summary - WATS UP on August 26, 2005

Invest 97L is covered in the EATS OUT product
I'll cover Hurricane Katrina in the GUTS product.
A tropical wave is moving into Central America and will not develop into a tropical cyclone.
The last of the dry air is flowing into 97L, which is the primary inhibiting factor for 97L.
All in all, conditions finally appear to be coming more favorable for tropical cyclone development.
