I fear that when the terrible day comes, it will be with little warning. I am calling all my co-workers(policemen) and telling them to start watching this storm. They are oblivious.

In summation - he believes that this has the potential for a true catastophe similiar to Camille. He indicated that all things were in place to allow Katrina really intensify and I think he mentioned that it could reach a low of around 910 to 920mb. He indicated that a track up the Pearl River looks pretty good to him. He is concerned about N.O. and expressed concern for everyone from eastern LA to Pensicola. He empasized that all interested individuals alond the central coast need to really take this Hurricane seriously. I do believe that he did say it was possible that Katrina could be the worst Hurricane to hit the central coast since Camille. He also mentioned that the models were pretty much in agreement which just added validity to what his own personal thoughts were.
