24 mph sustained winds, gusts to 29 at St. Augustine airport. 33 mph sustained winds, gusts to 39 at St. Augustine Beach. 10 to 14 foot waves just off shore. Serious beach erosion and several dunes have been breached especially near Crescent Beach on SR 206 and A1A. Beach renourishment near pier past few months will likely be all for nothing unfortunately.

Been very windy and gusty all day here in Palm Coast, not to much rain though. Part of A1A (coastal highway) in Flagler beach is closed because of a hole opening up underneath and washing away some of the foundation. My office is across the street from the beach. It was something to see this morning as the waves pounded the beach and pier. Debbie.

You may need to have a couple of tall ones for me after Ophelia is done with us which I hope will be soon.

Just drove over the causeway from the beaches to Merritt Island. Traffic was pretty slow and the cars were being blown around a bit. The hairy part was the puddling at the bottom of the bridge.

Be careful everyone!

Went down to the Patrick Air Force Base The new beach is starting to erode. In the low areas water is starting to come up on to the new beach. Solid overhead surf with a few die hard surfers hitting it.

Here in Orlando (O Town), there has been a good breeze and clouds all day, no rain to speak of.
