Strong ULL entering Yucatan, effect on Ophelia and Gulf Mess

#1 Postby HouTXmetro » Fri Sep 09, 2005 4:51 pm

What effect will that strong ULL in the NorthWest Carribean have on Ophelia and the convection in the Western Gulf?

That ULL is moving away from Ophelia at a pretty good clip
so the effects should be minimal to none. Now as far as the
convection in the gulf, I am guessing here, it should rip it
apart. What do you think will happen with the ULL in the
SE Bahamas? It will pass relatively close to Ophelia.
