This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Models and Joe B

From Joe B free column for today:
1.) New surging of a ridge in the Northeast next week and two developments in the Tropics by the 20th are a good bet. One heads for the Gulf, and the other may be involved with aforementioned pattern realignment (development of mean trof in the East by monthÕs end and cessations of current blasts of way above-normal temperatures with trof splits).

5.) Speaking of dirty, the Florida dry weather pattern is about to end with the development and subsequent westward movement of the aforementioned system toward the Gulf.

Some of the Models are hinting at development . The UKMET developes this feature the most but still brings a fairly weak system towards South Florida at the moment..
