Yep, he was right on. Some people may think he is crazy, but he is accurate most of the time.

Joe B has been pretty good this year -- I have to admit.
Sometimes he sounds c r a z y .... but as history as shown us
many gifted people have been considered crazy by others/society who just didn't get it or werent ready.

Heck who knows maybe he's real good one year real bad another
untill he gets his knobs adjusted just right.

I for one am paying some attention to him lately --he's been calling
them real real early --and I like that head start.

I have began to learn of him and I do have to say that his forecasts seem logical at the very least, prophetic at most...

Joe B is pretty cool during hurricane season. Bothersome in winter. When I was a met major he spoke at my local AMS dinner...but it was a recycled speech from the previous summer...however he praised my school's Met Program in a later column of his and I believe there are a number of graduates working at Accuweather now.

He's been thinking something will come up the East Coast sometime late this month for some time now so we'll have to watch.

I like his teleconnections and I usually watch them closely now.

I say J.B. saved many lives in NO by the way he was reporting on Hurricane Katrina's intensity at landfall.

He sounded crazy at times but was so right on his predictions.
