I'd say she'll be a 'cane by the 7/8 p.m. update.

Recon findings don't support a hurricane... you can't beat that.

I do agree that she will be a hurricane later tonight... perhaps even this evening.

Whats your guess of intensity for the gulf and point of landfall? Just curious.Thanks in advance.

At least Cat 3... landfall, not sure, but my hunch is Texas(can't be more specific right now).

I agree rainstorm, it doesn't look too good right now. Perhaps it's just reorganizing. I'd say it makes hurricane status at the 11:00 pm advisory
