What will October bring? Active as September? More Gulf Coast Hurricanes? Any comments?

October will be a East Coast month, from South Florida to the Carolinas.

I am not so sure. You can still get strong hurricanes in the gulf in October. Lili which hit LA. And Opal. But, I am hoping after Rita, this is it for the gulf coast for the rest of the year.

I see nothing either way to say if it will be active or not but, with this year, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see at least one more hurricane hit in the Gulf.

Normally in October the area to watch becomes the Caribbean, particularly the NW Caribbean, but this year, anything is possible it seems! Hopefully the Gulf gets a break.

Stan and Tammy

If the recent trend continues, STAN is going to be a push over, a fish, ohhhh… but Tammy…. than name scares me, I feel the tropics this year will give birth to “triplets” , three girls with an attitude…
