My sister is 22 and is planning on traveling from Toledo, Ohio to San Antonio, Texas to visit her boyfriend who is in the army. She plans on leaving tomorrow and flying. I told her that I didn't think the airports would be up and running considering that is like 200 miles west of Galveston. She is worried about the storm but not enough to change her plans. I am hoping they will be changed for her because she cannot comprehend the mayhem. Am I over-reacting or is she out of her mind???? What conditions are likely to be seen there?

Any responses would be greatly appreciated..... :(

I presume she is flying through a connecting flight? If so, better have her reserve a room at the connecting airport (if she can) or be prepared to camp out at the connecting airport, for I doubt the connector will be flying into SA.

If she's traveling tomorrow, the airports should be running as scheduled. The cancellations will come on Saturday.

Her real problem may be getting back! With every eastward shift, San Antonio can breathe a little easier, though it will still not be pretty there!
