Those on the board that predicted a possible hybrid Philippe /Bermuda low (was to be the future Stan)...and eventual change in direction for
Philippe were right on! You got any lottery numbers for me? HAHA!!
NHC is still calling this Philippe and it HAS changed direction.
Philippe direction and 5 day forecast had been NNE...then today
was NW. NOW as of 5pm it has changed and is moving WSW!
It doesn't look like much on satellite...but it is there.
I don't know what the steering currents are like or the ridge location
but there is high pressure over FL that is supposed to strenghthen
so does that block Philippe from coming towards Florida? Or cause it
to stall? Maybe move SW then do a loop back?
Any ideas here?
