This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Anyone looking for the "S" storm?

#1 Postby hial2 » Sat Sep 24, 2005 1:57 am

A vigorous wave mentioned by the NHC is approaching the Leward I slands.Very clear in IR..It is going low so it shouldnt be affected too much by the shear over Cuba..In fact, if it survives, she should be somewhere @ the Gul..I rather not mention what I think..Maybe, just maybe JB is correct this time!!

The Caribbean waters haven't been tapped since Emily.

There better be a whole lot of shear for a TS not to explode in the Caribbean seeing as we're in wet MJO and Caribbean waters are steaming.

Their writing the last advisory on Phillipe but the broad low may develope in the next couple of days and Phillipe will have a new identity as future TS Stan. Maybe Phillipe entered the witness protection program to evade the Japanese Yakuza and their electromagnetic machine. :P

A very good laugh, something I think we all need right now. But seriously, if a wave gets into the Caribbean, Then we could have another monster storm
