Is the Cape Verde Season Over?

Looks like the Cape Verde season my be nearing an end, however, this is an abnormal season. In addition a Cape Verde storm formed late October/early November last year.

Is the Cape Verde season over?

Well... Climatology says yes, but we all know where that's gotten us this year. LOL :lol:

I wouldn't rule out a CV storm(a la TD 19), but it'll likely have a hard time doing much.

Peter was in 2003.

lol i believe you are mistaken. there were no cape verde storms in November at all last year.

Are you thinking of Nicholas in 2003? It formed in mid October.

Lisa in 1998 was a Cape Verde storm. and that was in October
