My Amateur Wilma Forecast

#1 Postby skysummit » Mon Oct 17, 2005 4:40 pm

Here's what I think. The trough will have an affect on her, but not as strong as the models are thinking. We are still many days away from Wilma feeling the affects so I think the models may be over estimating the trough. It will strengthen into a Cat 3, but wind shear later in the forecast will weaken it down to a Cat 1, however still producing a Cat 2 storm surge along the western Florida coast.
