Moisture Coming Back For S. Florida, Wilma-Induced

#1 Postby gatorcane » Mon Oct 17, 2005 8:22 pm

We've had some beautiful weather here in S. Florida with lower than normal humidities and just a few scattered cumulous. It actually feels very nice out tonight.

HOWEVER,

it appears starting tomorrow the ESE flow around Wilma as she strengthens will overcome the dry air from the ridge and we'll see more moisture and heat.

You can see what I mean from the water vapor loop as the dry air over S. Florida should be overcome by some of the outermost bands of Wilma.
