I'm glad I haven't been paying much attention to this storm...
Last I saw this was a borderline cat 3. I saw that a very small eye had formed yesterday, but I didn't think much of it. 970 mb to 901 mb in 9 hours? That's unbelievable enough, but now 882 mb? What? What?
Holy crap. Guess I missed everything...

I hear you. I checked in last time yesterday PM when it was a Cat. 1. I normally check S2K at night but couldn't get to my PC. Then this AM I heard on the radio "Wilma has become the most intense Hurricane on record, A Cat. 5 with 175 mph winds". I couldn't believe it, my jaw dropped and I almost wrecked.
