Why is TWC's projected path farther south?

Why is TWC's projected path farther south?

Anyone notice their cone doesn't extend as far north as the offical NHC path?
I thought they always followed the NHC.

I'm not sure why either but I have noticed this same thing on several other storms, both this season and last.

The weather channel like accuweather have been using their own forecasts for a couple years now. They use the NHC forecasts for info, and additions to their own. But any graphics NOT specifically labeled as NHC products... they have produced and altered as their own.

It also doesn't go as far south... so in actuality, the center of the track is virtually identical to the NHC.
