Bryan Norcross just said that he thinks Wilma could easily be a cat 3 or even a cat 4 right now .

For whatever its worth, I think Bryan Norcross is fantastic. You can check out his station's website at http://www.cbs4.com for updates. Can't wait to hear what he has to say at 11:00.

Here's what he said at 11:
It's a spectacular looking storm. It's got a symmetric shape and a pinhole eye - all signs of a very strong hurricane. He feels certain that by tomorrow morning it will be a strong Cat. 3 or maybe even a 4 storm. It should begin a slow move to the NW tomorrow (there should be some adjustment if it hasn't by tomorrow), and should be to our southwest by late Friday as a fairly strong 'cane. Will pick up speed and move NE generally and in our general direction Sat. evening hours. completely out of our picture Sunday.
Currently still under very weak steering currents. Indications are that the high keeping it down will move out of the way and allow it to move NW and the high to the east will allow it to move northerly, and the jet stream dipping down will provide the westerlies to push it east over the state. And we could be in for "some significant effects" here in S. FL.

Where is Bryan Norcross on the Internet?
I have recently moved to GA but my family is still in South Florida. Therefore, it is very important for me to keep up with these horrible hurricanes. Bryan is the best and was amazing when we went through Hurricane Andrew. I have gone on the cbs website but find not updates from Bryan. HELP.

Hi there
The best place for you to find info. from Bryan is on http://cbs4.com/ They put video up usually after the major advisories there. Also, you can ask us here on the board what you're wondering about. There's a SE FL & a SW FL thread so depending on where your family is there are people that can help you

Do what? Did he speculate on wobbles north or south? All it takes is one track NNE for 3-6 hours and I'm going to get spanked a little harder than expected.

Sheesh. Thank you.
It's been a long week between freaking out family members, freaked out clients and a freaked out wife.
