Stacy Stewart

With Wilma and Alpha probably the last two storms of the year. Just wanted to take a minute to give a shout out to Stacy Stewart from the NHC. Stacy from last I heard is retiring this year. He will be missed by all as he imo wrote the most detailed advisories that helped us average joes understand the storm better. Thanks for all the memories Stacy and enjoy retirement.

I think it's a bit premature to say the season is over when conditions are still somewhat favorable for development, but that aside, yes Mr. Stewart has been a wonderful asset -- to the NHC, the US Navy, and to all of the customers (public, etc) that he has served.

NO!!! He cant retire, IMO, he's the best in writing discussions... I always looked foreward to reading his discussions, he will be missed horribly :cry: , its funny, he would come in in the mornings and always correct everyones mistakes in the advisorys... :lol: :D

Yup...uh huh....a bit too early to mention the season is over...especially this season.

I'll miss Stewart's great discos. A huge loss for the NHC, there are few who will be able to completely replace him.

damn i hope he doesnt end up at the weather channel, it will ruin a good thing. on the other hande i would say local media all over could use a good consultant to get their acts together.
