NBC-2 Live.... Miami in for rude awakening

#1 Postby crazycajuncane » Mon Oct 24, 2005 5:42 am

The Hurricane has made landfall and is moving fast enough that Metropolitian Miami will feel strong effects from Hurricane Wilma.

The "south" side of this Hurricane is very strong.

It looks like Wilma gained strength over night and made landfall closer to Category 4 strength.

I had NBC-2 playing all night on my PC and something woke me up around 5:11 (cst) and the first thing I heard was... Wilma had made landfall!

It's really neat to see the reporters out in the "eye" of the Hurricane in Marco. That's pretty cool.
