South Dade Posters...

Please inform damages incurred in the Homestead, Fl. City area. We are worried about Wilma's impact at the Speedway, seeing that they were in the process of a grandstand revamping. The races are only a month away. Any info would be appreciated. We really got hammered here on the Pine Island/ Cape Coral coast. Terrible winds on the backside of Wilma out of the south for 2 hours, I would guess 80+. There is nothing to stop the winds in CC as there are no tree's. Very suprising to see winds of that force on the backside of a quiclky exiting storm. Thanks, TheShrimper.

Here in the Redland north of Homestead the power is out and there seems to be widespread tree damage and power lines down. No structural damage to the buildings in my immediate area from wind, just from where trees hit them.

Gotta go-battery on laptop about to die.
