I hope so.

Brent,

You might find something of interest in comparing the October cold front of 1989 with the the killer Christmas Freeze of 1989...
And today's cold front, with the potential for another killer freeze this winter.
Doesn't have much to do with tropical weather..
But these temps immediately behind a Cat 3 hurricane in FL are just surreal.

If there are any records of 'canes following such a strong cold front I'd like to know about it, so I can do some sort of voodoo to ward it off.

We were nearly at 90 for highs last week... and now this(possible frost Wednesday Morning). It's incredible. Howling north winds today as well.

and yes... a couple of days ago the local weather showed the records and I noticed 1989 and remembered the Christmas cold snap(not from memory, I was only 1  ).
