Could Brickell have recieved higher than Cat 1 winds? The Espirito Santo building looks totally gutted on Brickell and it was built within the last two years to the new higher codes. The windows should have held up to a Cat 3. I read that the high-rise hurricane glass windows are rated up to 200 mph.

brickell did NOT receive anything other than low cat 1 sustained. my office is east of Brickell, on a causeway; thus, far more exposed, and we recorded a max sustained wind of 81 mph
