Let's think out of the box. Show me the worldwide data showing there is no climatology trend. Don't leave out geology & space weather.

Build what you may, does not matter, unless you build a round dome that is water proof and aerodynamic.

Not thinking of moving out of Florida. I have 10-15 more years here, THEN we'll move when we retire (but not because of hurricanes.)

Of course, give me a few more years of two hurricanes hitting my area each year and I might rethink staying here. :/

I love Florida! Hurricanes are part of the nature, and when at a safe
location can be majestic to behold. The majestic power of nature
in the form of hurricanes and my interest in chasing hurricanes
are big reasons to stay in Florida for me.

The destruction hurricanes do is horrible, but the fury of a hurricane
is awesome to behold.

Even after Wilma [see my "Back from the Storm" in this forum], I hope we're still living in Florida after my husband's (planned) retirement in 6 years. :)

Dealing with hurricanes is the price to pay to live on the water.. I learned that this year =/ We got lucky.. But one time we wont.
